Parenting is most enriching and pleasing experience of life. Parenthood is a never ending process because children always need support and guidance of their parents at every stage of life.
- Love your children regardless of anything
Let your children know that you will love them in any situation. They don’t need to choose the path their parents want or consider fine for them. Never urge your children to choose things you’re interested in.
For example, you might expect from your child he/she will be the doctor in the future but they don’t have any interest in medical and they want to be a athletes. So, it is important to let them know that you will respect their enthusiasm and passion.
- Give credit for their achievements
Encourage your children even on their minor accomplishment. If you give them positive feedback, they will feel proud and confident. When they perform good actions, let them know they are being observed and appreciated.
Make it a habit to give positive feedback rather than negative to your children. If you don’t encourage them, they will never feel motivated.
- Supports your children without comparison
It is very important for a child that what his/her parents is thinking about him/her. If you compare your children to others, it can hurt them. So, don’t even try to compare your child with others. Here, you need to understand that every child is rare and special. Let’s teach them how to live their life on their own and achieve their goals on their own.

It is very difficult and challenging for parents to stay calmed and controlled while you’re dealing with your children especially when children are misbehaving. If you feel like you’re losing control over your children, pause and take a deep breath and don’t react.
Sometimes it is difficult to control anger. If you say something disappointing to your children, apologize to them and use it as an opportunity to teach them how to say sorry when they make a mistake.

Good parenting requires you to inspire your children with positive actions and encourage them to do the same.

For example, if your child is behaving badly in public, take them aside to a quiet corner and calmly correct their behavior without insulting them in front of others.

Don’t expect your children to be perfect in the things you have in mind. For example, you have some expectations that your child will be the good player or student. Instead of doing this you should teach them that how to do things on your own style.
If you force them to be perfect in everything, it can disappoint them and make them lose confidence.

Teach your children how to do their tasks on their own. Inspire them to make their own decisions and develop confidence in their abilities. Don’t make your children rely on you for everything; help them become self-dependent. Remember, you can’t be with them everywhere, so train them to handle different situations on their own.
